Craig petrman

Peterman is in his first term as President of the MWPA as he was elected in July of 2024. Craig Peterman graduated from Rockford High School in 2008. He and his wife Holly have been married for ten years and have a son who is well on his way to becoming a future water polo player. In 2016, Peterman graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with an emphasis in Language Arts and Integrated Science. After graduation he began his teaching career as a long term substitute in Sparta. Peterman is now teaching at Lincoln School where he is in his eighth year of teaching transition age (18-26) students with special needs.
Peterman is in his 17th year as part of the coaching staff at RHS, having served as the assistant Varsity coach and head JV coach. Peterman is in his 6th year as the head varsity coach. Peterman has been part of thirteen state championships, four were as a player and the other nine as a coach while earning his 1st as the head varsity coach in 2023.  He started his own polo career on the Rockford middle and high school teams where he played from 2001-2008.  He was honorable mention all-conference, second team all-region, and third team all-state all season. He has also played for the master’s team in the Grand Rapids area.
